Besides the nib sizes, which vary from extra fine to extra broad through to calligraphy nibs, they are distinguished by the materials used and special processing techniques. 

All Kaweco Nibs are Made in Germany! Our Kaweco steel nibs are made of special nib steel. An iridium point at the tip and a precisely measured nib slot minimizes the tolerances of the line widths from Extra Fine to Extra Broad.
