Spinning Wooden Top | Wood Vintage Toy

Tops are among the oldest and simplest of toys. The earliest tops were hand-made from wood and objects in nature. Later, they were mass-produced on lathes in factories. Colonial children, who frequently made their own toys, could make them easily out of scrap wood from their fathers' workshops. Each top is about 2-1/2" long.

This listing is for one wooden top.  One of the six designs will be randomly picked if you order online, or come visit us in person to choose your favorite!

Each top is a historical reproduction of an authentic vintage American toy, sourced from a family-owned company in New Jersey.
